The developers of Homebridge have officially released an image for the Raspberry Pi.
While many users have been using a Raspberry Pi as their dedicated Homebridge device, it has often been tumultuous process to get it up and running.
The official Homebridge Raspberry Pi image has a lot of benefits, like working on all Raspberry Pi models, Config UI X preinstalled so installing and managing plugins no longer requires terminal and adjusting your config.json file.
The installation process should also be much easier, as it appears to be a three step process involving Flashing your SD card, Doing a first boot to get the system up and running, and then updating Node.js.
I look forward to getting this up and running and sharing the process very soon!
